Coming back to this cypher now, it’s still my least favorite, BUT, I’ve warmed up to it a bit. It’s not as bad as I felt it was on my first few listens. I think what threw me off was the beat switches. The verses were great though. When you listen to tracks and cyphers, you get a certain vibe and feel from it. On my first listen, I just wasn’t feeling the vibe too much, but now it’s increased a little. I heard from somewhere, I forgot where, that this cypher was apparently rushed. So when you hear that it was rushed, you can understand why some people may not like it as much as the others.

The reason Eddie chose to add Lucy, is because they believe that it was essential for both Cartman and Charlie’s characters to “lose” in a sense. What’s what makes them likeable. Cartman being a horrible person is funny bc everyone calls him out for it, and Charlie constantly getting beat down but never giving up is what makes us root for him. In a rap battle SOMEBODY has to win, which means Eddie thought they’d be breaking characters, and the fundamental storytelling methods of both series. They also felt like Charlie going full smackdown with petty insults would be out of character. Adding Lucy solved both of those problems, as she gets to “rep” the Peanits side, but very much tells them both off. Her temperament was also much better to match Cartman and give him a taste of his own medicine.

Before I discuss who won, I just wanna say that whoever did the work for The Spot’s 2nd Verse, YOU COOKED! 🧑‍🍳 Anyways, Ya know, a lot of people saying The Spot DESTORYED Gaster. And a lot of people saying Gaster DESTROYED The Spot. The 2 lines that were pretty but a hitter were 3:12 and 3:44. Those two were pretty vicious. But like Kratos’s or Maui’s. Battle of the Gods! This is still a close battle, these 2 were going at each other. I can’t tell which line is better 1:50 or 3:45 . Those 2 lines were ABSOLUTELY VICIOUS! When I saw this for the first time, I gave it a tie. It was that good! And rewatching here….you know what let’s break it down! Flow: Maui. His was more fun than Kratos’s. 2:21 proves it. 🤔 hmmm, well if im being honest here id give this one to Charlie why? Well he did bring up some facts that i didn't even know also because of that weiner line and thats it.
